We have had 3 wardrobes installed by Betta St Leonards over the last 9 years and all have been fantastic - price great and good quality. They managed to fit a full wall of wardrobes into our very wonky 120 year old house, and 4 years later match them perfectly in a new extension - they looked like they'd been installed at the same time. When you've purchased a big-ticket item, of course you want to leave a good review. Sadly - this is a bad review. Briefly, the wardrobe emitted such a strong chemical smell from the bedroom, it was inhabitable. This, according to Google is called off-gassing. The home smelt like an acrylic nail salon and nearly 6 weeks later there is a sweet-sickly vinyl like smell in the room. Avoid Betta Wardrobes at all costs. The job was not as quoted, and it took five attempts to install the correct-sized doors. What should have been a one-day job dragged on for six weeks. Their team was unprofessional, unhelpful, and constantly bad-mouthed their own company. The final product is of poor quality, and when we asked for a discount due to the delays and issues, they offered a pathetic $150 off. The service was great. However, for a $2,700 custom wardrobe I was expecting better quality build. They used an ugly U channel plastic piece for the end panel of the wardrobe to attach to wall. Also used a scree cap sticker. Non of these are necessary if they had used a better technique to build. None of my other wardrobes ha e these cheap looking things.

Despite assuring us that the reviews on here were not representative of the quality they provided, we have had to have two wardrobes done by Betta re-done by another company because the quality was so poor. Today, a year after installation, we removed the wardobe in my son's room to access a pipe (we are renovating) and found rubbish left in the wardrobes from when Betta installed them including screws, plastic hole caps and wood piles. I strongly reccommend you use another provider. Photo attached.
