The company forced me to pay $6000.00 for tenants wardrobe that was unfinished. * no mirror ( charged for one) * massive damage on wardrobes from installer - very rough finish! * appalling customer service It’s in legal hands at the moment! Don’t recommend: Highly recommend FOX WAredrobes do your research first! Once they take money, company will not return and have a bad reputation!
Very fast to quote and install following week but that's the only good news. Unfortunately, after taking 9 hours to install 2 wardrobes, one was installed way too close to the wall and not as per plan, and both rooms had the skirting boards cracked and scraped in multiple places in both rooms, no silicon used in all the joints where skirting was cut, one skirting piece even got glued back to the wall not flush, and a huge mess of wood and aluminium shavings, and a large piece of melamine left on the driveway for my 80 year o... read more
Did a wardrobe install in a hurry. Didn’t follow health and safety or building code. Screwed a panel directly into just hollow cavity of gyprock plaster as support as could not be bothered using a stud finder or knocking on plaster. Stud was 1 inch below their screw. They went straight into electrical circuit. Told Brookvale straight away and told to get an electrician as entire light circuit tripped off. Waited a week for an electrician and plasterer. Have just paid $300 to get our two year old shower screen repaired, which should have been under warranty. The showers screen door came off its rivets. 'Dave' (manager) accused us of having forced or door or having fallen against it, and refused to accept responsibility. The repairer we hired told us it was badly fitted, screen was too large, putting undue pressure on the rivets. Shonky work from start to finish. Be warned.
I've had Betta Wardrobes come in to install two wardrobes at different properties, and each time it has been such a fantastic job. The staff are fast, efficient and so lovely to speak to over the phone. The technicians were great too and everything was finished in such a timely manner. I have nothing but positive things to say about these guys, thank you again!
